Make a difference in the lives of seniors at GEF Seniors Housing as a full time Coordinator for Resident Wellness in Edmonton. Implement and promote engaging activities that enhance community and wellness. Reporting to the Life Enrichment Supervisor, the Activity & Wellness Coordinator (AWC) is essential in promoting wellness and engagement among seniors.

This role requires a diploma or degree in recreation or a related field, and 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred. The AWC will evaluate community needs and develop meaningful programs that foster resident satisfaction and joy. Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate programming to enhance resident wellness
- Build community relationships with volunteers and seniors




- Assess and implement tailored activities for resident engagement
- Promote diverse wellness initiatives and events
- Manage other tasks assigned by the Life Enrichment Supervisor

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in recreational studies or similar
- 1-2 years’ experience in program planning desired
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
