Spécialiste Outillage. Vous avez une expérience dans les équipements industriels, vous avez travaillé dans le domaine industriel ou aéronautique et vous souhaitez évoluer et développer de nouvelles compétences? Ce poste est pour vous ! Le programme d'avions commerciaux A220 recherche un(e) Spécialiste Outillage pour rejoindre notre équipe d'outillage basée à Mirabel (Québec, Canada). Le département d'outillage d'Airbus Canada joue un rôle essentiel dans le soutien à la production du programme Airbus A220 sur nos sites de Mirabel (Québec) et Mobile (Alabama). En rejoignant notre équipe, vous serez chargé(e) de concevoir, fournir et maintenir les équipements nécessaires aux chaînes de montage final (FAL).

Vous êtes responsable de la gestion de projets de diverses envergures, en incluant des solutions innovantes telles que des mezzanines, des équipements de levage, des stations d'assemblage robotisées, ainsi que des outils de transport et d'accès à l'avion.

Votre rôle principal consistera à garantir l’avancement de ces projets en respectant rigoureusement les délais, les budgets et les coûts, et à veiller à ce que chaque solution livrée atteigne les plus hauts standards de qualité et de sécurité, tout en respectant les normes d'Airbus, les critères de santé et de sécurité au travail, ainsi que les exigences de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.

Your Challenges

- Coordinate and lead a team of technical planners specializing in tooling estimation and purchasing.
- Distribute the workload and ensure the technical skill development of your collaborators.
- Develop ROMs (Rough Order of Magnitude) and delivery lead times for recent projects to provide reliable budget estimates from the feasibility phases.
- Manage and take responsibility for a strategic purchase contract for tooling, ensuring compliance with commercial and technical clauses.
- Drive supplier relationships by ensuring rigorous monitoring of critical milestones for each project.
- Guarantee compliance with delivery deadlines and implement action plans in case of deviations.
- Define, extract, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the activity (cost compliance, on-time delivery, tooling quality).
- Write periodic activity reports for management.
- Effectively manage financial resources allocated to a project to ensure spending stays within budget while achieving defined objectives.
- Collaborate closely with methods, finance, and procurement teams, as well as suppliers and external stakeholders.
- Interpret, understand, and comply with technical plans and specifications.
- Lead multi-departmental meetings and ensure every collaborator is engaged.
- Find solutions for various issues encountered during the project.
- Present project progress reports.

Your Profile





- Load an engineering degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in mechanical, industrial, or aeronautical engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Specialize in product design, industrial project management, or tooling (an asset).
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the industrial sector or in a similar business manager role.
- Experience with planning, monitoring, managing deadlines and costs, and coordination between different teams.
- Experience in team coordination or cross‑functional project management.
- Ability to work with external suppliers and oversee the manufacturing and assembly of equipment.
- Capability to work with multidisciplinary teams (engineers, technicians, managers, etc.) and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, rigor, and a keen attention to detail.
