We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Accounting team in Aurora. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, acquisitive environment and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with day‑to‑day execution. You will oversee accounting operations across a complex multi‑entity organization, lead a high‑performing team, and play a key role in financial reporting, acquisitions, and process improvements.

Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities. Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations across 100+ entities.

Fixed

Assets, Leases & Acquisitions Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and lease accounting activities. Support acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation entries and integration activities. Ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting of acquisition‑related transactions.

Controls,



Compliance & Process Improvement Maintain strong internal controls and support year‑end audits. Oversee indirect tax compliance, including HST filings and reconciliations. Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team.

Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth. Partner closely with operations, payroll, legal, and executive leadership teams. Opportunity to work on M&A; integration and complex multi‑entity accounting.

Significant visibility with senior leadership and executives. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities. ~ Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and ASPE. ~ Experience in multi‑entity accounting environments, including consolidations and intercompany accounting. ~ Experience with fixed assets, lease accounting, and financial reporting. ~ Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.

Background in environmental, industrial, or service‑based industries. Bilingual in English and French.
