Grewal Guyatt LLP (“GG”) is a qualified services firm based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, offering Assurance, Accounting, Tax, Advisory, Forensics, Business Valuations, Estate Planning, and Litigation Support services. S. tax division experiencing rapid growth. Over the years, we’ve expanded our services and welcomed new teams into the firm, allowing us to work with a diverse group of clients, including high‑net‑worth individuals and families, real estate developers, entrepreneurial and fintech businesses, regulated professionals, nationally recognized organizations, and not‑for‑profit entities.

Tax Manager plays a key leadership role within the U.Tax division, overseeing client engagements, managing staff, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. 110,000 – $130,000 CAD per annum. This is a Hybrid Role requiring four (4) days in-office and one (1) day remote.

Our office is located at: 1 West Pearce Street, Suite 700, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 3K3. Please note that this position cannot accommodate at any point, fully remote work. S. federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and estates, including complex engagements.

S. tax compliance engagements, including Forms 1040, 1040-NR, 1120, 1120-F, 5471, 5472, 8621, FinCEN 114, 3520, and 3520-A. S. estate and gift tax filings (Forms 706-NA and 709), where applicable. Conduct and review tax research related to U.S. federal and international tax matters, including PFICs, Subpart F, and GILTI,



and communicate conclusions to partners and clients.

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing tax questions, managing expectations, and maintaining strong client relationships. Review and respond to IRS and state tax authority notices and correspondence. Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and best practices within the U.Tax division.

Train, mentor, and supervise associates and senior associates, including reviewing work and providing performance feedback. Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or equivalent years of professional experience. ~ Master’s degree in Accounting and/or U.CPA or EA designation is considered an asset. ~S. tax within a public accounting firm with 2 years in a leadership position. ~ S. individual tax returns (Forms 1040 and 1040-NR), Corporate Tax Returns (Forms 1120 and 1120-F) and Partnership Returns (form 1065). ~ S. international tax reporting, including: S. corporate tax returns (Forms 1120 and 1120-F) required. ~ S. estate and gift tax filings is an asset. ~ Knowledge of Canadian tax legislation is an asset. ~ S. tax preparation software; GoSystem experience is an asset. ~ Annual Performance Bonus ~ 3+ Weeks of Vacation ~ Social and Team-Building Events ~ We welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities.
