A minimum of a master’s degree in nursing or a related field At least one degree in nursing (BScN or equivalent) Current registration in valuable standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Relevant clinical and/or teaching experience aligned with the course content Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in a post-secondary nursing education environment A doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, or doctoral study in progress Previous experience teaching in a university or college nursing program Experience with simulation-based education, laboratory instruction, or experiential learning Familiarity with learning technologies, learning management systems, and online or hybrid teaching environments Evidence of scholarly or professional engagement related to nursing education or practice Previous experience as a clinical instructor, preceptor, or mentor in nursing education Strong understanding of regulatory, professional, and agency-specific expectations related to clinical education For NSGD 3706 – Previous experience managing a health-focused group research project Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures Term : 26FW – Fall (September 8 – December 31 2026), Winter (January 11 – April 30, 2027)
