JOB TYPE

Straight-time hourly position, unionized.

LOCATION

Sites of business operation as required, branch located at PO Box 56 Grp 582 Rr 5, Winnipeg Manitoba (on-site).

Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)

- Assisting crane operators in assembly, disassembly and transport of cranes.
- Rigging of equipment.
- Assist mechanic with the maintenance of cranes and general duties in the shop and yard.
- Delivery of equipment and rigging as needed.

Qualifications

- 3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson certificate.
- Class 1A driver’s license is required.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate secure work practices, follow company policies and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- The successful candidate will be required to be in good standing with IUOE 987 or become members of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 987.

IMPORTANT

As a safety sensitive position, it is a condition of employment that candidates successfully pass pre-employment testing that includes a Drug and Alcohol screening.
