Join M’Chigeeng First Nation as a Community Engagement Worker to lead initiatives on child well-being. This full-time role is pivotal in fostering community relationships and gathering insights for cultural program development. You will drive the development of the Nation's Child Well-Being Law by facilitating engaging sessions, working with Elders, families, and youth.

The position entails documenting community needs and feedback to ensure informed decision-making. Your efforts will support the collective vision of self-governance and sustainable service delivery within the M’Chigeeng community, emphasizing Anishinaabe values. Key Responsibilities:

- Create and implement the Community Engagement Plan
- Organize and lead community meetings, sharing circles, and focus groups




- Collect and analyze community input with confidentiality
- Prepare engaging summaries and reports for leadership
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders for smooth coordination Requirements:
- Degree in Social Services, Indigenous Studies, or related field
- At least 3-5 years of community facilitation experience
- Knowledge of local Indigenous programs and cultures
- Solid communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Clear CPIC with Vulnerable Sector Check required Use your skills to uplift and empower the M’Chigeeng community through meaningful engagement.
