Glen Shields Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy which has been providing outstanding service to the local community for over 30 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our quick paced team specializing in medication for small pets which services clients across Canada. We operate Monday-Friday 9:30am-8pm and Saturdays 9:30-5pm. Closed Sundays and holidays.

Job Summary

-Provide friendly, efficient and courteous customer service, ensuring a superior experience for our clients at all times

- Effectively manage a large number of incoming calls and emails from our customers
- Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify questions or issues while documenting required information
- Escalate drug related calls to Licensed Pharmacist for resolution
- Use Fillware to create and maintain electronic patient records
- Liaise with healthcare professionals to assist clients
- Count pills, label bottles to prepare prescriptions for patients as directed under a pharmacist’s supervision.
- File and sort prescriptions to be archived




- Perform administration duties including operating cash register and preparing orders for shipping
- Assist with stock management and cleanliness

Required Skills Pharmacy Assistant diploma an asset but not required

Fillware software knowledge an asset but not required

Friendly, efficient and courteous customer service, ensuring superior customer service at all times

Ask appropriate questions and actively listen to identify questions or issues and effectively document required information

Proficient with computers and data entry

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask

Great initiative and problem solving skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as team in a fast paced environment

Punctual with good attendance record

Ability to work 1-2 evenings a week and some Saturdays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
