Responsibilities

- Prepare engineering designs and drawings

- Read blueprints to determine work requirements

- Supervise other drafting personnel

- Develop and prepare design sketches

- Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates

- Prepare contracts and tenders

- Write technical reports

- Write specifications

- Estimate costs and materials

- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets

- Examine drawings for conformity and errors

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

- Computer and technology knowledge: Internet, Desktop applications, Computer-aided design (CAD),



Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Windows, Spreadsheet

- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced workplace, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

- Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication, Organized, Team player
