This is a full time permanent position working 5 days a week on site Monday Friday . If you have experience with structural steel detailing and are proficient in AutoCAD and Tekla Structures , we want to hear from you! Prepares structural approval drawings, shop fabrication drawings and erection drawings, including material lists and shipping forms.

Prepares structural drawings issued for fabrication and field construction purposes in compliance with applicable building and/or structural code requirements. Communicates and coordinates with mechanical and electrical disciplines, internal project management, purchasing and manufacturing departments to ensure requirements are incorporated into accurate structural approval and production drawings. Provides assistance in the development and maintenance of standard structural practices for drafting and fabrication of structures.





Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or other related education is considered an asset. Minimum 3 years of drafting experience. Good working knowledge of structural steel design and detailing practices and materials for pre-engineered steel structures.

Knowledgeable in the use of AutoCAD and Tekla Structures. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have own transportation as the location is not accessible by public transportation.
