We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native platforms. This role focuses on enabling high-performing engineering teams through modern DevOps practices, automation, and platform engineering.
The role also supports AI/ML and Generative AI workloads, ensuring models and AI services can be deployed, monitored, and scaled safely in production. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions align with business objectives, technical requirements, and operational best practices. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, secure, and repeatable application deployments.
Optimize infrastructure for availability, performance, resilience, and cost efficiency. Implement best practices for networking, compute, storage, and scalability. Establish monitoring, alerting, and logging standards using modern observability tools.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Embed security best practices into pipelines and infrastructure (DevSecOps). Ensure platforms meet enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Act as a technical mentor for DevOps and engineering teams. Guide teams through architectural reviews and operational best practices. Collaborate with software engineering, architecture, data science,
and product teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles. ~ Proficiency with Linux, networking concepts, and distributed systems. ~ Experience with Kubernetes platform engineering and cluster operations. ~ Exposure to AI/ML or MLOps environments, including supporting model training, inference, or CI/CD for ML workloads Familiarity with Generative AI or LLM platforms (for example, inference services or RAG architectures) Hybrid Work: This role follows a hybrid model with 3 days per week at our Toronto office: 111 Queen St.
