Job Title: Dietary Aide Temporary Part Time (6 months) Department: Patient Food Services -Oshawa Food Services Days, Evenings, Weekends; 4 and 8 Hour Shifts (Subject to Change) Wage Schedule: $27.030 - $28.330 per hour It is a health network that includes five hospitals, a long-term care home, a community-based surgical centre, and more than 30 community sites across the Durham Region. Meal and nourishment delivery and pick up, food assembly; adhering to secure food handling and sanitation practices

- Food Handler's training and certification is required
- Previous food preparation and/or food service experience
- Proven working knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to effectively interact with all levels of staff and public and provide good customer service
- Working knowledge of standardized recipes and portion control an asset
- Knowledge in food service sanitizing work areas, equipment, dishes and utensils, an asset
- Must be flexible in terms of availability for weekends, holidays,



and for short notice call-in's
