Drive investment strategies at AIMCo as the Director of Quantitative Investment Research in Calgary. In this senior role, you will report to the Chief Economist, shaping the quantitative voice within Economics & Investment Research.
You'll be involved in hands-on work, utilizing code and data for real-time portfolio analysis, risk budgeting, and asset allocation. Your insights will impact decisions for over CAD $200 billion in assets. Key Responsibilities:
- Own quantitative frameworks for client portfolio construction
- Develop systematic decision support for the Tactical Asset Allocation Committee
- Conduct risk analytics and stress testing across asset classes
- Manage the E&IR; quantitative research setting
- Mentor and set standards for quantitative analysts Requirements:
- 10+ years in portfolio strategy or investment risk analytics
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
- Expertise in portfolio theory and risk modeling
- Proficiency in Python and analytical tools
- Strong ability to influence senior decision-makers Enhance AIMCo’s investment strategies through data-driven analysis, risk management, and mentorship.
