About Jukebox

Jukebox is a global online printing company known for premium print, specialty papers and finishes, and products made to a higher standard. From business cards and stickers to packaging, books and custom projects, we work with major brands, small businesses, designers and independent creators around the world.

The Role

Jukebox is looking for an established Director of Social Media to lead our complete social media function across strategy, content, paid social, creators and community. We are taking a bolder approach to social in 2027 and beyond. We want original work people choose to follow, stronger product launches, ambitious collaborations and a closer connection with the designers, creators and businesses that use Jukebox. You will set the direction, build the team and make social media a major part of how Jukebox grows.

You will oversee Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant and emerging channels, with a clear purpose and approach for each. This is not a first Director opportunity. Previous employment in a formal Director or Head-level social media role, including direct team leadership, is mandatory.

What You’ll Do

- Set and own the social media strategy, annual roadmap and role of each platform
- Develop original content series, campaigns, product launches and collaborations
- Own paid social strategy across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn, including budgets, audiences, creative testing and performance
- Lead social content from the initial idea through production, publishing and review
- Recruit, lead and develop the social media team
- Build creator, influencer, ambassador and user-generated content programs
- Oversee community management, social listening, brand reputation and responses to sensitive issues

- Set clear KPIs and use the results to improve organic content and paid campaigns
- Manage agencies, creators, production partners, technology and platform relationships

Who You Are

You have led social media for established companies or major brand accounts and can clearly show the channels, teams, budgets and results you owned. You know how to build a social media function, not simply keep a content calendar full. You have strong editorial judgement, understand what belongs on each platform and know how to turn creative work into measurable growth.

Qualifications

- At least ten years of professional experience in social media, content strategy or digital brand marketing
- At least five years directly managing social media employees, including hiring, coaching and performance management
- Previous employment in a formal Director, Head, Senior Director or VP-level social media role at an established company, brand or agency
- Proven responsibility for major company or client accounts across organic content, paid social, community, creators, budgets and performance
- Robust knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
- Experience leading ongoing content, major campaigns and product launches from strategy through production and reporting
- A record of measurable results across audience growth, engagement, traffic, conversion or revenue
- Experience managing budgets, agencies,

creators and production partners
- Strong writing, editorial, analytical and presentation skills
- Verifiable employment history and leadership responsibilities, supported by professional references

Preferred Experience

- Experience building or expanding a social media department
- Experience with a premium consumer, ecommerce, retail, technology or design-led brand
- Experience managing social media for audiences in both Canada and the United States
- Experience in both agency and in-house environments
- Experience with social commerce, affiliate programs or creator-led sales
- An interest in print, packaging, design and creative communities

Work Schedule

This is a full time, in-office position based at Jukebox Headquarters in Richmond, BC. This is not a remote position.

Company Benefits

- Company events
- Dental care
- Vision care
- Extended health care
- Paid time off

How to Apply

Please submit your resume, LinkedIn profile and two or three relevant social media case studies. For each one, include the company or brand, account handles, your exact position and dates, team size and direct reports, areas under your responsibility, and measurable results. Clearly separate organic results from paid media. Applications must show previous Director or Head-level employment and at least five years of direct social media team leadership. Employment history and professional references will be verified.
