Dishwasher / Prep Cook

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, organized kitchen while assisting with basic food preparation.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher safely.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Complete basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, and storing ingredients.
- Prepare sauces, vegetables, and other menu ingredients according to restaurant recipes.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-storage procedures.
- Sweep and mop floors and remove garbage, recycling, and food waste.
- Clean kitchen equipment, workstations, walls, and storage areas.
- Receive and organize food and supply deliveries when required.
- Support cooks and other team members during busy periods.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Perform other reasonable kitchen duties as directed by management.





Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation is an asset.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.

Pay: $17.60-$19.50 per hour
