The Role:

We’re looking for a part-time worker who lives in Vancouver that can commit to Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoons (10:30am - 3:30pm). The ideal candidate will also be available for private walks, boarding, and to assist with full-days or other days (as needed).

You should be an energetic, responsible, and dog focused individual to join our walking team! Walkers handle daily group walks, with plenty of opportunities to earn extra income through private walks, relief breaks, overnight boarding, weekend adventures, and referral bonuses.

Because our dog groups form strong bonds with their walkers, we are not looking for temporary help. All new team members are asked to commit to at least 1 year so the dogs (and their owners!) can build lasting trust and consistency.

What You’ll Do:

- Safely transport dogs using a company-provided vehicle (fully equipped).
- Lead fun and safe group walks (60 minutes each) *See 'Sample Day' below, to get an idea of what a full day would look like
- Provide private walks and relief breaks in between group walks.
- Conduct trial walks and meet & greets with new clients.

- Represent Paws at Play professionally in the community
- Earn a $50 referral bonus when someone you referred books 5 walks.
- Lead weekend adventure group walks
- Overnight boarding opportunities
- Drive extensively between pick-ups and drop-offs (more driving than walking).
- Plan and organize efficient driving routes to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Ensure the safety, happiness, and well-being of every dog in your care.

Compensation:

- Half-day (AM or PM group walk): $70/walk
