About Island Gold Mine : Alamos Gold’s Island Gold Mine is one of Canada’s highest grade and lowest cost gold mines. With over 550 team members, the underground operation is located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. Through ongoing exploration success, Island Gold’s Mineral Reserves and Resources have continued to grow in size and quality.

we would like to hear from you! The Technician, Mine Operations - Driller will safely operate drills and related equipment while ensuring operational needs are being met in a protected and environmentally sound manner.

Take appropriate corrective action to prevent any negative impact on the environment or quality and report non-compliance. Previous experience in a mine or other heavy industry environment. A team player with solid communication skills.

First aid and other relevant certifications would be an asset. The ideal candidate for the role will work a rotation of 7 days on / 7 days off (12 hour days).
