Duties
- Use hand tools and power tools to thoroughly clean and inspect air ducts, vents, and related components.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to ductwork and ventilation systems to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct commercial cleaning of HVAC systems, including removing dust, mold, and other buildup.
- Assist with heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during cleaning operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain services performed and address any questions or concerns.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during cleaning procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, including inspection reports and service logs.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment used in duct maintenance.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to complete jobs within scheduled timeframes.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or custodial experience is a plus.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
