Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a love of learning. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, and the ability to work effectively with diverse learners, including those with disabilities.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Create a secure, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Support children in their daily routines, including feeding, toileting, and rest periods
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and team members
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that meet individual needs and learning goals




- Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education best practices
- Communicate effectively with families to foster strong relationships and support children's success
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization in accordance with health and safety standards

Skills

- Proven experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage young learners through creative activities
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, families, and team members
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for supporting children's growth
- Classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$30.27 per hour
