Summary

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Century Daycare and OSC in Spruce Grove, AB. In this role, you will contribute to creating a nurturing atmosphere where children can explore, learn, and develop their unique interests. This position is vital in supporting our commitment to respectful, child-centered care.

Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities tailored to children's individual needs and interests.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging setting that encourages curiosity and discovery.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's development.




- Maintain a clean and organized classroom adhering to safety standards.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Promote positive interactions that respect the dignity of each child.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in an early childhood setting.
- Strong caregiving skills and patience.
- Knowledge of child development principles.
- Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Excellent communication skills with children and parents.
- Certification or diploma in early childhood education is preferred.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is an asset.
