We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Education (ECE) Assistant to join our vibrant educational team at Smart Kids Learning Centre . In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood curriculum standards
- Support children’s learning activities by encouraging participation and curiosity
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment at all times
- Observe and document children’s progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a collaborative learning atmosphere
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance
- Engage in classroom setup, material preparation, and cleanup to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to support basic math concepts through engaging activities
- Passion for teaching and fostering a positive learning environment
- Must be reliable, energetic, and eager to contribute to a team dedicated to early childhood development
