Hours: Project dependent; Monday - Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October) Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Health perks, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.

Interpret electrical code specifications. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.



Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.

Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.

Journeyman Electrician

Certification or equivalent is required. At least 2-3 years working as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience required. Fall Protection & Rescue, Aerial Platform, Confined Spaces, Rigging/Hoisting and Hand. Signals, H2S Alive and First Aid/CPR certification would be an asset.

Proficient

English language skills required.
