We are seeking an experienced Locksmith with strong knowledge of electronic access control systems to install, service, and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic locking systems. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate clearly in English with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain mechanical and electronic locking systems

- Service and troubleshoot access control systems (card readers, keypads, controllers)

- Install and service mag-locks, electric strikes, door hardware, and closers

- Integrate access control systems with fire alarm and life-safety systems

- Diagnose wiring, power supply, and control issues in low-voltage systems

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and door hardware schedules

- Provide professional,



customer-facing service and explicit explanations of work performed

- Maintain tools, service vehicle, and job documentation

Requirements

- Proven experience as a locksmith

- Hands-on experience with access control systems

- Strong knowledge of electronic locks and low-voltage wiring

- Ability to troubleshoot independently in the field

- Must speak and understand English clearly

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with commercial and institutional doors

- Knowledge of fire code and life-safety door requirements

- Experience with CCTV or alarm systems

- Locksmith certification or apprenticeship ( Optional)
