About The Opportunity We are looking to hire Engineering Graduate / Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Timmins West Mine in Timmins, ON., on a full-time basis. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8 hrs/day or 4 on, 3 off, 10hrs/day.

Compensation: This position offers a salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

Vacancy Status: This is an existing vacancy.



The successful candidate may begin as soon as possible.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

As an Engineer in Training/Engineering Graduate, you will follow a rotation through various engineering functions (on surface and underground) that may include: surveying, ventilation, ground control, longhole planning, development design, scheduling and day-to-day tracking, and short-term planning.

The role may include time embedded with various underground production crews in order to understand mine production roles firsthand.

Required Skills While our ideal candidate has the following qualifications, we welcome applicants who may not meet every criterion to apply. The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:





- Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from an accredited University
- Seeking P.Eng. license with PEO when eligible
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and techniques as they apply to ore body evaluation and underground mine operations
- Proficiency in mine planning software (Deswik.CAD and Deswik.Sched)
- The applicant must be eligible to work in Canada
