We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer to be based in our Vancouver office. The successful candidate will be working on Mining and Mineral Processing projects. Prepare technical specifications, equipment lists, material lists, drawing lists and files Prepare plans, designs, calculations and cost estimates for conventional engineering, studies and development assignments.

Contribute to the delivery of multidiscipline engineering design by liaising with other engineering disciplines to coordinate technical information. Review and advise on technical documents submitted by vendors. Deliver mechanical engineering design according to required project timeframes and standards while adhering to design specifications.

Perform hydraulic, piping, tanks sizing calculations,



and material selections Assist the drafting division in the production of project design drawings by providing technical assistance and reviewing and approving drawings in a timely manner Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering At least 5 years of experience in preparation of tender packages, requisitions specifications, bid evaluations, package follow-up and vendor documents and drawing reviews. Prior experience working with an engineering consulting firm, equipment vendors or mining companies on mining, mineral processing, projects Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Project).
