Become an integral part of our operations as a Heavy Duty Mechanic. Specialize in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and construction equipment safely and efficiently. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will perform a variety of tasks including troubleshooting mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Your technical expertise will support the upkeep of a diverse fleet for optimal performance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on machinery
- Repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Maintain accurate repair and service documentation
- Operate hoists and lift devices safely
- Assist apprentices and less experienced staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required
- Valid license in good standing is necessary
- Robust mechanical knowledge is a must
- Effective spoken and written communication
- Truck and Coach Service License considered a plus
