CapWest is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to work on major projects in Vancouver. If you have a keen understanding of soil types and enjoy operating heavy machinery, this role is for you. This position requires at least three years of civil construction experience.

You will be responsible for excavation work in key areas such as Tsawwassen, South Cambie, and Pitt Meadows. As a part of a dynamic team, you will engage in efficient equipment operation and contribute to site grading. Key Responsibilities:

- Efficiently operate excavators for material handling
- Use bulldozers for precise soil grading
- Compact materials based on engineer’s guidance
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment
- Utilize street sweeper to clear construction sites

Requirements:

- Completion of Grade 12
- Over 3 years' experience in heavy equipment
- Valid BC driver’s license
- Understanding of site grading and soil differentiation
- Strong self-motivation and planning abilities
