We are currenlty looking for a Field Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our Saskatoon branch. This is a full-time position that will require the flexiblity to work out of the Saskatoon branch or fly in/out and stay at camp on a rotational schedule when necessary, flying out of Saskatoon or Pince Albert.

Develop and maintain a consistent schedule of performing preventative maintenance of all Herc owned fleet at long term customer job sites Oversee and conduct oil changes, lubrication of equipment, tire replacements, hose repairs, battery replacements and assorted services Diagnose and repair heavy equipment as required to ensure proper operating condition at the job site Diagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems,



electrical systems, hydraulic systems and propane systems Educating customers on proper use of equipment to avoid future breakdowns Adhere to all safety guidelines posted at active jobsite where repairs and maintenance are completed Produce timely and detailed service reports and repair logs Build positive relationships with customers Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a qualified customer service focused attitude.

Journeyman Off Road

Certification or HET Red Seal in Heavy Duty preferred.

Experience working in an underground mining enviroment is an asset Ability to be part of an on-call rotation.

Valid

Class 5 driver's license.
