Lead financial strategy and management at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Arts as a Finance Manager. This role encompasses budgeting, expert consulting, and policy development. You will report to the Chief Administrative Officer and play a pivotal role in managing financial resources effectively.
With a focus on budget planning, financial compliance, and operational efficiency, you will guide faculty members on all financial matters and ensure adherence to university policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate budgeting processes including analysis and forecasts
- Provide expert financial advice and training to faculty members
- Develop and implement financial procedures for compliance
- Maintain effective communication regarding financial operations
- Supervise and evaluate financial team members Requirements:
- University degree in finance, accounting, or business
- Minimum seven years in a similar financial management role
- Qualified accounting accreditation preferred
- Knowledge of financial planning and organizational governance
