We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fleet Manager to join our team at a thriving automotive dealership. The Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for handling all commercial, government and fleet business, including any special orders. Must present a professional appearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Store liaison for coordinating all broker and fleet/commercial deals for the store
- Process all fleet/commercial and government inventory orders after obtaining the Platform Manager’s approval
- Act as liaison between the customers and the manufacturer(s) on fleet/commercial sale needs
- Review all sources for any commercial, government or fleet bid opportunities
- Cultivate as much broker and fleet/commercial business as possible
- Ensure all broker and fleet/commercial deals comply with all federal and state laws
- Submit deals for banks and ensure compliance with broker and fleet/commercial requirements for the banks
- Maintain owner follow-up applications that encourage service business and repeat and referral business and contribute to customer satisfaction
- Not deliver or place any broker or fleet/commercial orders until appropriate documentation is received from the customer
- Facilitate recent vehicle pre-delivery with the Sales and Service department, including outside vendors
- Handle all inquiries regarding broker and fleet/commercial sales
- Prepare bid proposals
- Help determine monthly and annual forecasts in terms of unit sales, gross profit objectives and departmental profits
- Complete all training as directed by management
- Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Personnel Policy Manual and other corporate policies
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3 years in automotive sales
- Knowledge of all types of vehicles
- One year of commercial/fleet sales experience preferred
