Norm's Wood Flooring is a local floor installation and restoration business with over 35 years of experience serving the area. We are looking for a reliable, motivated Floor Installer to join our team and help us continue providing quality service to our customers.
Requirements
- Experience in floor installation is preferred; basic labourer experience with a willingness to learn will be considered
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend and lift for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs
- WHMIS required; First Aid considered an asset
- Safety shoes and hard hat required
- Valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract preferred
- Must be able to independently travel to job sites when required
- May be required to pick up and deliver flooring from locations in Ottawa
- Knowledge and safe operation of power tools considered an asset
- Majority of work is located in the Ottawa area
- Transportation to job sites is typically provided in a company vehicle
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- Wage based on experience
- Training available for the right candidate
