Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the Machine Operator – Deli will be responsible for responsible for operating the designated machine in a safe and proper manner, monitoring for mechanical problems or hazards, and conducting or arranging for maintenance as required.
Shift: 8:00am start (Flexibility is required, this is not a remote position, this is a fully in office role) Monday to Friday Tuesday to Saturday Health benefitsand pension plan Weekly pay Performs assigned tasks in the designated department to ensure that the equipment is maintained and operates at optimal performance. Sets up equipment to ensure that all products manufactured in the department meet Company and customer requirements. Some experience with machine operation, and/or must possess mechanical aptitude; Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards (CFIA, etc.), GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc.; General Computer Skills (e.g.
MS Office)
