Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to work on a contract basis. This role will lead reliability implementation, troubleshooting, and operational experience covering a broad range of equipment classes, including pumps, compressors, motors, level gauges, pressure transmitters, and switches. The successful candidate will have advanced technical knowledge and exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead reliability implementation, troubleshooting, and operational experience across downstream facilities such as petroleum refining, tankage, rail, and truck loading.
- Perform root cause analysis for equipment and instrument failures meeting defined thresholds.
- Responsible for unit vulnerability studies and unit reliability road maps, including long-term reliability plans.
- Focus on availability improvements from mechanical and I&E; standpoints.
- Identify and navigate organizational changes while maintaining a keen interest in international engineering and leadership trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Advanced technical knowledge in reliability engineering and related equipment classes.




- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide teams and stakeholders.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis for equipment and instrument failures.
- Ability to develop unit vulnerability studies and reliability road maps.
- Interest in international trends in engineering and leadership.
- Emotional intelligence to navigate organizational changes effectively.
- Familiarity with mechanical and instrumentation & electrical (I&E;) reliability improvements.
- Experience in petroleum refining, tankage, rail, or truck loading facilities is preferred.
