Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely. We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice. We're hiring a Content Specialist to join our Enterprise Content Team in Toronto and Vancouver.
This role is the engine of Clio’s Enterprise content team. You keep work moving, drafts sharp, and projects on track. You will produce first drafts across a range of formats, manage the content calendar in Sprout and Asana, and coordinate the logistics that turn a content plan into published work.
You work under the direction of the Senior Manager, Content Strategy, and in close partnership with the Content Strategist, Enterprise. We want someone who notices things like a signal from a Sales call, a content gap, a format that isn’t landing and brings it to the table. Produce first drafts across content formats including blog posts, social content, email copy, one-pagers, landing pages, webinar abstracts, and campaign assets.
Write video scripts for shorter-form content including social videos, product explainers, and supporting thought leadership formats by capturing the speaker’s voice and making complex ideas land quickly on screen. Write clearly and on-brand for enterprise audiences, with an understanding of how tone and format should shift across channels and buyer stages. Use AI tools to accelerate drafts, while recognizing when output needs significant reworking to reflect Clio’s voice and the ability to close that gap quickly is as important as the ability to prompt well.
Iterate quickly based on feedback: get to a solid draft fast, don’t wait for perfect conditions to start. Support the Content Strategist in developing assets by producing research, outlines, and supporting content.
Content calendar and project management:
Own the day-to-day management of the Enterprise content calendar in Asana and Sprout Social by keeping projects on track, deadlines visible, and nothing falling through the cracks. Set up and maintain content workflows in Asana, flagging bottlenecks or capacity issues before they become problems. Schedule and publish social content through Sprout Social, ensuring content is formatted, tagged, and timed correctly for each channel.
Coordinate with freelancers and external contributors when applicable, including briefing, tracking deliverables, and managing timelines. Support integrated campaign execution by preparing and distributing content assets across web, email, social, and paid channels. Assist with ABM programs by adapting and personalizing content for priority accounts and key enterprise segments.
Ensure published content is accurate, on-brand, and consistent across channels. Stay alert to signals from across the business such as conversations with Sales and Legal Architects, observations from Customer Success, trends in the market and proactively share anything that could inform our content approach. Participate in cross-functional meetings and surface relevant insights to the Senior Manager and Content Strategist without waiting to be asked.
Support performance reporting by pulling data, tracking KPIs, and flagging anything that looks interesting or worth investigating.
Editorial and brand quality: Edit and proofread your own work and supporting materials to a high standard before they reach the Content Strategist or Senior Manager for review. Apply SEO, conversion, and buyer journey best practices to content where relevant.
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across channels. 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, legal technology, or a legal workplace (Big Law or in-house legal). ~ Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clean, on-brand first drafts quickly and across multiple formats. ~ Hands‑on experience managing a content calendar and coordinating content workflows. ~ Proficiency with Sprout Social and Asana, or equivalent tools; comfortable owning the operational side of a content program. ~ you don’t wait for a perfect amount of data to get started. ~ Willing to get hands‑on with Clio’s product to understand what it does and how enterprise customers use it.
Strong brand instincts: you can tell when an AI draft sounds like AI, and you know how to fix it. ~ Proficiency with AI writing and research tools is required, including Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT. Candidates must be able to speak to live, practical examples of how they use these tools in their day-to-day work. We have developed a series of programs and processes to ensure we are creating fair and competitive pay practices that form the foundation of our human and high‑performing culture.
Competitive, equitable salary with top‑tier health benefits, dental, and vision insurance ~ Hybrid work environment, with expectation for local Clions (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, London, New York City and Sydney) to be in office min. Flexible time off policy, with an encouraged 20 days off per year. ~$The expected salary range for this role is $77,300 to $104,500 CAD. Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity (DIBE) & Accessibility We are dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion.
We pride ourselves in building and fostering an environment where our teams feel included, valued, and enabled to do the best work of their careers, wherever they choose to log in from.
