Part-Time French Teacher/Tutor – Scholars of Ajax and Pickering

Scholars of Ajax and Pickering are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time French Teacher/Tutor to join our team! We take pride in helping students achieve meaningful academic success, and our teachers play a vital role in that journey. The successful candidate will receive training in the Scholars teaching methodology.

What We're Looking For:

- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program, Teachers College, or be an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT). (High school students are not eligible to apply.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
- A genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.
- Ability to teach small groups of up to three students.
- Must be able to teach reading and writing skills in French Immersion.
- Must be creative and able to adapt teaching strategies to connect with students and help them understand concepts in different ways.




- Must be able to teach an additional subject(s) alongside French, such as elementary Math and English.
- Ability to teach French Immersion students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
- Ability to work at both our Ajax and Pickering locations is an asset.

Availability Required: Candidates must be available to work within the following hours:

- Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Education:

- Currently enrolled in a university program, Teachers College, or have completed a university degree.

Experience:

- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
