About The Role
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering innovative product features that reach a global user base. Your work will span from enhancing user-facing functionalities to optimizing backend systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
As part of our collaborative environment, you will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, participate in code reviews, and research new technologies to keep our platform at the forefront of the industry. Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications in a production environment
- Strong proficiency in PHP, with experience in modern web frameworks such as Laravel
- Experience developing APIs and backend services
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and schema design
- Experience working with cloud platforms and deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Ability to independently deliver end-to-end features and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent technical documentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with a user-centered approach
- Curiosity and willingness to research and integrate new technologies
- Experience with modern software development practices and tools
Responsibilities
- Write clean, effective, and well-documented code to support scalable backend systems and user-facing functionalities
- Develop and implement new features across multiple codebases, including front-end and back-end components
- Maintain and improve the overall architecture, APIs, databases, and infrastructure of the Pixieset platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Research and integrate new technologies to enhance system performance, security, and development efficiency
- Design and maintain comprehensive test suites to ensure system stability and quality
- Produce clear technical documentation to facilitate team understanding and knowledge sharing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and optimizations to support product growth
