Fort Vermilion School Division Location Our Children, Our Students, Our Future: Moving the Dial on Every Child The Fort Vermilion School Division invites applications for an Elementary teaching position. 24-month contract Duties/Responsibilities/Skills: As per NOC 41221, Elementary school and kindergarten teachers, Elementary school teacher: ~ Discuss results and students’ progress with them, their parents and school officials ~ Supervise teaching assistants and train student teachers ~ Develop course content ~ Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness ~ Prepare, administer and correct tests ~ Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help ~ Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum ~ Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trip ~ Day, Early Morning, Morning ~ Education: Bachelor's degree ~ Provincial Teaching Certificate required ~ Languages: English ~ Experience an asset ~ Public school ~ Willing to relocate ~ Relocation costs covered by employer (New teachers may agree to receive a$5,000Transitional Allowance.)
