EWSWA is looking for an Environmental Technologist to provide hands-on support for environmental monitoring and landfill infrastructure projects.

This role offers the opportunity to engage in field inspections, technical data collection, and ensure compliance with environmental guidelines. You will play a vital part in managing solid waste responsibly for Essex County and Windsor City. Key Responsibilities:

- Support design and implementation of environmental processes
- Inspect landfill and other environmental operations
- Maintain technical and monitoring documentation
- Operate landfill gas collection systems
- Conduct topographic surveys using CAD and GIS

Requirements:

- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- 6 months to 1 year of environmental or surveying experience
- Familiarity with Total Station surveying equipment
- Valid Certified Engineering Technologist designation
- Current Class “G” Ontario driver’s license
