Job Type: Full time. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Covering Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will install, repair, and replace a variety of floor coverings in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
This role requires precision, physical stamina, and the ability to work with a range of materials and tools. Inspect, measure, and prepare floor surfaces for installation. Measure, cut, and install floor covering materials such as carpet, vinyl, linoleum, laminate, and other resilient flooring.
Lay and secure underpadding and foundation materials. Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Experience in floor covering installation is an asset. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely and effectively. Basic communication skills in English. Completion of secondary school may be an asset. Work may take place at residential, commercial, or construction sites. Starting wage of $26.00 per hour. Hours count towards journeymen or Red Seal apprenticeships.
