Support health initiatives in remote communities as a Full-Time Nurse for Community Wellbeing at Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority. Help enhance health and wellbeing in First Nations regions. As part of a dedicated team, this full time permanent position emphasizes culturally aware nursing and public health.

You will have the chance to create educational programs, perform critical health services, and work closely with community leaders and organizations. The focus is on responding to community needs while applying public health principles effectively.

Key Responsibilities





- Conduct health education tailored to local contexts • Manage immunization schedules per health directives • Collaborate to assess community health needs • Engage in cancer and chronic disease prevention initiatives • Conduct outreach and home health assessments Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing • Minimum year of experience in community health • Valid BLS certification and G class license • Understanding of community wellbeing systems • Proven team collaboration skills required Contribute to First Nations health improvement through your nursing expertise in this rewarding community role.
