Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Store Helper / Cleaner to join our team. In this key role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for our customers and staff.

Your main responsibilities will include washing utensils and equipment, cleaning the washroom, sweeping and mopping floors, removing garbage, and assisting with other general cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

- Wash and clean utensils, dishes, trays, and other store equipment
- Keep the washing and cleaning areas neat and organized
- Clean and sanitize the washroom regularly
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the store
- Collect garbage and dispose of it properly in the designated garbage room
- Keep garbage and recycling areas clean and organized
- Clean tables, counters, and other areas as required
- Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist team members with general cleaning and other tasks when needed
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace for customers and staff

Requirements




- Previous cleaning or restaurant/store experience is an asset, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry garbage bags, cleaning supplies, and other items safely
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
