Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for General Labourers based in Headingley, MB.

General

Labourers support construction and site operations by performing tasks such as site cleanup, material handling, basic landscaping, and assisting tradespeople with routine duties.

Responsibilities may include loading and unloading materials, using hand and power tools under supervision, assembling or dismantling temporary structures, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. Labourers are expected to follow health and safety procedures, adhere to instructions from site supervisors,



and work collaboratively with the project team to meet timelines and quality standards. The role may involve outdoor work in varying weather conditions and requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic experience with hand and power tools, construction site work, or general labor in a related field.
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices and willingness to follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a diverse team with clear communication and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing site needs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Headingley, MB job site are an asset.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or property maintenance is considered an advantage.
