The Manager, Media Planningworkscloselywiththe planning Director on all aspects of media planning andistheprimaryday-to-daycontactwiththe client. Workingwithcross-functionalteamstoaccessall servicesofferedbyEssenceMediacom,youwillensurethatclient objectives are met.

Assuch,youwillmaintaina highlevelofinvolvementwiththeaccountentrustedtoyou,promotingthehighestqualitymediaproductandcustomersatisfaction. Youwillalsoberesponsiblefor thedevelopmentandgrowthof more juniorteammembers,ensuringthattheyareexposedto allnecessaryfacetsof the planning process.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Developandmaintainrelationshipswithclients andagencypartners
- Lead thedevelopmentof media plans,includingmediaanalysisto supportrecommendations
- Useresearchtools(Vividata,Commspoint, ComScore,EssenceMediacomproprietarytools, etc.) todeveloprecommendations
- Prepareandpresentmedia plans,includingobjectives,strategyandrationalebasedon data andsoundthinking
- Supervise, guide, andadvisemedia planningteammembersonday-to-dayactivities
- Delegateworkeffectivelyand guide media planningteammemberstodeliverseamlessworkto the client
- Keepabreastof all communicationswiththe planningteam,includingbuyapprovals,trackingreports,buychanges, etc.
- Ensureongoingcampaignmanagement
- Assumefinancialaccountabilityfor media byworkingwithclient andpartneragencyfinancedepartments.




- Participatein client/agencymeetings as theday-to-dayrepresentativeof the mediadepartment'sproductgroup
- Actwithintegrityinmanagingrelationshipswithintheagencyandwithmediapartnerstoensurebrandunderstanding,sellideasmoreeffectivelyandcontributeto positiveagencyreviews
- Meetwithindustryrepresentativesto gainknowledgeof all phases andtouchpoints of mediapartners
- Have an in-depthknowledgeof the Quebecmarketanditsculture
- Activelyseek,investigate, andpursuenew communications and innovationopportunities.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

- Collegediplomaorbachelor'sdegree,preferablywithspecializationinadvertising, marketing, business administration or communications, orequivalentworkexperience
- Morethan5yearsof relevant mediaexperience,withapreferencefor media planning
- Experiencein the full cycle ofstrategyand media plandevelopment
- Abilitytodevelopstrategicthinkingandrecommendationsrootedinknowledgeof theclient'scategory, consumer insights, thecompetitionand abrand'scommunicationsecosystem
- In-depthknowledgeof Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstratedcriticalthinkingandproblem-solvingskills
- Abilitytocommunicateconciselyandclearlybothorallyand inwritinginbothFrench and English
