Position: Lead Teacher - Outstanding Start Readiness Program (GSRP)
Qualifications
- Must have one of the following:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in early childhood education, OR
- Current Michigan Teaching Certificate with Early Childhood endorsement (ZA/ZS).
- Must meet all requirements established by the Michigan Department of Human Services.
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check with MSP, a background check with LARA, and pass a TB Test.
- Early Childhood experience, preferred.
- Work effectively, make decisions,
and problem-solve collaboratively within a team.
- Evidence of ability, leadership, initiative, and creativity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and teachers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for all instruction and activities associated with the Great Start Readiness Program.
- Ensure constant communication among staff and parents.
- Responsible for networking with other agencies.
- Complete all necessary paperwork associated with grant.
- Coordination of parent involvement.
- Facilitate effective methods of communication with parents and community.
- Perform all other related duties and documentation requirements as assigned.
