Hard Rock

Ottawa's Dealer School is a comprehensive, no-cost training program designed to teach participants the fundamentals of dealing with popular casino table games. Additional table game procedures and player service techniques This training program is provided at no cost to eligible participants and is designed to develop transferable table games skills that may support future career opportunities within the gaming industry.

Upcoming Open House: Tuesday September 29th, details around time will be released closer to the event. Be available to attend the full six-week training program (40 hours per week for six consecutive weeks beginning October 13th 2026).

Program Graduation Requirements

Maintain satisfactory attendance throughout the training program. Demonstrate proficiency through practical table game evaluations and auditions. Excellent verbal communication skills in English. French language skills are considered an asset.

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Graduates who successfully complete the Dealer School program may be considered for future Table Games Dealer opportunities at Hard Rock Ottawa,



subject to operational requirements and the successful completion of all applicable employment and regulatory requirements, including registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Employment opportunities, if available, are not guaranteed and remain subject to business needs, candidate suitability, and regulatory approval.

Individuals who successfully complete the program and are subsequently hired as Table Games Dealers at Hard Rock Ottawa may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. With tips included, dealers in the Ottawa area typically earn approximately $30 to $35 per hour.
