About the Opportunity

What if you could take everything you've learned from years of exploration, target generation, project evaluation, and discovery work and help build the technology that defines the next generation of mineral exploration?

We are partnering with an experienced and highly regarded Vancouver-based team at the intersection of mining, technology, and capital markets to build an AI-powered exploration platform designed by geologists, for geologists.

As Head of Geoscience & Technical Product, you will become the geological leader behind a transformative technology initiative, helping translate the decision-making processes of experienced exploration professionals into practical AI-driven tools that accelerate discovery and improve exploration outcomes.

This is not a traditional corporate geology role. It is an opportunity to work alongside software developers, AI engineers, and industry leaders to create a product capable of fundamentally changing how exploration teams evaluate data, generate targets, and make drilling decisions.

For the right individual, this role offers the rare combination of technical influence, entrepreneurial impact, and meaningful equity participation as the company advances toward significant growth and potential capital markets or strategic exit opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the geological authority and technical champion for an AI-powered mineral exploration platform.
- Lead the integration of exploration geology into product strategy, workflows, feature development, and platform design.
- Translate real-world exploration processes and geological reasoning into requirements that software developers and AI engineers can implement.




- Guide the development of prospectivity analysis, target generation methodologies, and geological decision-support tools.
- Work closely with developers to ensure AI-generated outputs are scientifically defensible, explainable, and practical for exploration teams.
- Establish validation frameworks, quality assurance processes, and confidence-scoring methodologies for geological interpretations and drill targets.
- Help train and evaluate AI models using real-world exploration datasets and projects.
- Support demonstrations, pilot programs, and technical engagement with mining companies and exploration teams.
- Act as the voice of the geologist throughout product development, ensuring technology enhances rather than replaces professional expertise.

What the Successful Candidate Will Bring:

- A strong track record in mineral exploration, economic geology, or resource development, ideally with direct involvement in project advancement, target generation, or significant discoveries.
- 10+ years of industry experience evaluating complex geological, geochemical, geophysical, and drilling datasets.
- Deep understanding of mineral systems, structural geology, exploration strategy, and geological interpretation.
- Experience utilizing industry-standard software such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS/QGIS, Micromine, Datamine, Surpac, Seequent, ioGAS, Oasis montaj, acQuire, or similar platforms.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.




- A curious, innovative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for the application of AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies in mineral exploration.
- A desire to build something new rather than simply operate within an established system.
- Academic qualifications in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline, with P.Geo. or equivalent designation considered an asset.

In Return, You Can Expect

- Base Salary ranging from $90,000 - $100,000 plus bonus, options, etc. For more experienced individuals, higher compensation packages may be considered.
