Centre, Neuro Rehab BW Hours: 10.00 FTE: 0.13 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0700-1515/0700-1230 Union: AUPE Aux Nursing Rate of Pay: $20.77 - $26.02 PCN: 26NANRR10 Reporting directly to the Director of Care, the Health Care Aide (HCA) is a regulated member of the interprofessional health care team who provides ongoing client care. The HCA observes, monitors and reports on client status/condition including changes in physical and emotional status. The HCA ensures that changes in client status are reported to the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

This position delivers prescribed medications accurately as per policy and procedure. In keeping with Carewest's Frame of Reference,

Neuro Rehabilitation

Program - for adults who have had a neurological injury, such as a stroke, and require additional assessment, recuperation and rehabilitation before returning to the community.

High School

Diploma or equivalent is required, plus graduation from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English is required. Related experience in a health care facility is an asset. Program specific training/experience is an asset. #
