We are hiring multiple Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our Integrated Mining Team (IMT). In this role you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of a variety of Caterpillar general line, power systems and mining equipment throughout BC and the Yukon. Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in a field setting Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.



Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication.

Interprovincial Heavy Equipment

Technician (HET) Certification ~ Red Seal Off Road certificate required ~ 3+ years experience as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician, with demonstrated time in the field; mining operations is an asset ~ Strong skills in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems ~ Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience ~ Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset This position is based on a 14x14 continuous shift rotation Up to $1,000 / rotation travel allowance to get to marshalling point (tax free) A condition of employment includes the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable As a company, we continuously strive to enhance our outreach to individuals of all backgrounds and identities.
