Keller is actively searching for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic in Delta, BC with experience in Diagnosis and Repair of a variety of equipment used in the construction industry.

Diagnose and repair equipment and trucks, including hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs and welding Ability and knowledge with maintaining equipment by repair and replacement of different components Troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, electro-mechanical systems, power train, and safety related aspects of mobile equipment maintenance Perform new and used machinery preparation, scheduled maintenance, repair or overhaul usually requiring component replacement, commissioning and adjustment of mechanical/hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment,



including warranty upgrades Rigging, hoisting, and spotting for equipment movement according to written, verbal, and/or signaled instructions Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently with the analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems Ability to perform and pass a Pre Access and Post Incident Test Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate Experience with Drill Rigs or Foundation Equipment an asset Pass “Sure Hire” Fit Test Pass Drug and Alcohol Test Hands-on experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in the construction industry Self-motivated and willing to travel Comfortable working outdoors in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations Valid Class 5 Drivers License and access to a vehicle The following certificates are an asset: The following tickets are an asset: Drill Rig, Loader, Skidsteer, Excavator Dental, Health and Vision insurance as per Operator Union Disability and Life insurance as per Operator Union Able to travel and work in camp workplace ~8-12 hour days – overtime as per Operator Union ~ Day shift, Night shift, Weekends when required ~ Rotation or Shift work if needed #
