Atlantic Road Construction & Paving is a large heavy civil construction company specializing in heavy civil excavation and flatworks, pipeline placement, concrete placement, and asphalt paving. Our team has a project ongoing inLunenburg, NSand is expected to run through all of 2026. We are looking to hire qualified individuals that live within a reasonable commute to our jobsite to join our team for the duration of the project.

Experience operating a rock truck or excavator. Solid understanding of construction, maintenance techniques & how to safely use equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine equipment maintenance. Valid class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision.





Heavy Equipment

Operator trade certification considered an asset. Check equipment before operating to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency components are in good working order. Use the excavator to load trucks with soil, gravel and other materials.

Excavate accurate trenches for utilities, drainage systems, and foundations. Communicate any unsafe conditions or accident/injuries immediately to the supervisor. Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulation, and compliance.
